Zach is playing flag football this Fall. His team is the Buccaneers. Tonight was their first practice. He is loving it so far!
August 18th
Chris drove golf carts this morning at the Iowa State Fair for the Shrine. The kids and I met him in the afternoon to have some fun. It was overcast and a little chilly but a really nice day compared to sweating in 100 degrees! I took a picture of myself 9 months pregnant with a pregnant pig last year, so I had to get one with Bailey & baby pigs this year! What a difference a year makes!

Zach went to the Iowa State Fair with Craig & Peggy today and had a blast! They sent me these 2 pictures. I was jealous I had to work!

Chris & Bailey have started a yearly tradition...Father Daughter Night at Chili's! The first pictures are this year; the bottom pictures were from last year. I don't remember her being that bald!
August 13th
Zach kept coming home from summer camp talking about how much fun he had building with Brain Flakes. I searched all over for them and finally found them online from a retailer in China. I ordered some and they came this week. Zach has been having so much fun building things. Bailey loves to dump the bowl and spread them EVERYWHERE! At least they are happy and fun colors!

Bailey is kitty-obsessed and I am Bailey-obsessed so today we played dress-up for a minute!

Our little music lover has learned how to turn on the receiver/stereo and dance to the music! She is the cutest little booty shaker!
July 29th
I LOVE when my birthday & Night Glow at the Indianola Balloon Fest fall on the same night! We had an amazing night watching balloons and hanging out in the beautiful weather. My parents ended up joining us and a fun time was had by all!

July 26th
Today we celebrated Memphis' birthday at a party in the park. Bailey wore her fanciest Minnie Mouse outfit for the occasion since he likes Mickey. It is so fun to see her in outfits we bought before she was born...back when having a little girl was just a dream. We beat the heat in the afternoon on Mimi & Papa's deck in the mini-pools!
July 23rd
Bailey & Kacy have such an interesting relationship. The cat normally ignores everyone but me, but she loves being close to Bailey...just not too close! Bailey has also discovered how good her own toes taste!
July 18th
One of Chris' second cousins passed through from California this weekend. Her 3 kids had so much fun playing with Zach, Bailey, & Memphis (and Tony). It was great to all get together!
