The beginning of Spring means getting the motorcycle out and the first ride of the season at our house.  Tonight Chris was headed to a CPR class and Zach begged for a quick ride.  It is the first time he had been on a motorcycle without a trunk on the bike that provides a back-rest for him.  They just went around the block, but I was a nervous wreck the whole time they were gone.  They came back smiling and had a great time.  Boys & their toys!

We celebrated Chris' 37th birthday at Outback.  Chris ordered a Pork Porterhouse, which is a really big pork chop.  As they were bringing our food out, they told Chris that they had dropped his pork chop on the ground and unfortuntely it was the very last one.  We jokingly gave the manager a hard time that it was Chris' birthday and they had ruined it.  He brought Chris out a BIG chunk of prime rib to eat while they cooked a HUGE t-bone for him.  They also brought him out 3 full size desserts with Happy Birthday written in chocolate and checked on our table every 5 minutes.  We were just happy they actually told us they dropped the food on the floor and didn't serve it!  It turned out to be a great night for Chris!

Happy birthday handsome!  Welcome to your late 30's!  :)
Love,
Your MUCH younger wife

Happy St.Patrick's Day from our little leprechaun!

March 16th

Sunday morning we woke up in Milwaukee and hit the pool one last time, much to Zach's insistence.  After we got ready for the day, we headed to Lake Michigan.  It was a very cold and windy day, but it was still impressive to see.  We ended our mini-vacation at the Harley Museum.  Chris could have spent 2 days there.  I was done in about 20 minutes.  Zach actually had a great time and spent most of his time creating masterpiece bikes on the computer.  It really was a nice place with tons of history and lots to look at.  It was a great way to end our trip with some quality family time.

Friday, March 14th, we drove to Milwaukee, WI.  Chris is a Rider Coach for Big Barn Harley Davidson and their curriculum is changing.  They were having a conference at a nice hotel in Milwaukee to discuss the changes and to get everyone together.  Zach didn't have school that Friday and the hotel was paid for by Harley, so we made a mini-family vacation out of it.

While Chris was in sessions all day Saturday, Zach & I went to the VERY fancy Mall across the street and saw a 3D movie.  We shopped, played, and spent a ton of time in the pool, which we had all to ourselves.  Chris had a great time getting wined & dined and showered with free Harley stuff, and Z & I had a great time exploring the city on our adventure.  It was a great day!

Not much cuter than a little guy eating Chinese noodles with cheater chop-sticks!  (Please notice the blueberries in the bowl to try to balance out the unhealthy noodles!)
