July 29th

I had a GREAT birthday this year.  I used to dream of spending my special day with someone tall, dark, & handsome.  My dream came true with someone short, blond, and adorable.

We went to Indianola and watched the Night Glow at the balloon fest.  Zach liked it just as much as I did, which was the best birthday present ever!

We went to Incredible Pizza to celebrate Noah's 6th birthday.

Zach had a blast playing all of the games, but the go-karts were definitely the hit!

Zach's 1st official motorcycle ride.  I am not sure which of them were more excited.  Have I mentioned today how much I just LOVE these two?

Tonight we went to Lake Red Rock spur of the moment to watch the 1st Annual Red Rock Balloon Fest night glow.  The sunset was beautiful and it was so peaceful on the lake.

Chris and Zach have been talking about camping in the yard for weeks.  Tonight they gave it a try.  Zach liked playing in the tent, but was not ready for sleeping outside!

Have I mentioned lately how much I ADORE these two?  Getting to watch their bond grow every day is so much fun!  How lucky am I to be loved by them?!

July 6th

Wednesday was Zach/Daddy day.  They went to the Zoo, took Mommy out to lunch, rode the carousel, and worked on Papa's motorcycle.  Zach even convinced Tony to ride scooters with him.  Just last week he couldn't figure out the one legged scoot, but he has it down now!

July 5th

Today was a Zach/Mommy day!  We went for a bike ride, went to The Playground (bounce house place), went shopping, and ate popsicles!

July 4th

The weather finally cooperated and we got to boat!  We had a blast, and Zach got to ride the big tube!  (cell phone pictures)

Fireworks at the Fairgrounds on Saturday night were rough.  Zach threw up the minute we got there, but did cuddle with us and Grandma...which was greatly appreciated.  We were a little leery about Prairie Meadows fireworks on Sunday, but Zach did great.  He insisted on wearing his head phones from Monster Trucks, and would say "owwwww and awwwww" after the pretty ones.  (cell phone picture)
