July 31st

Thursday, July 31st my work had a baby shower to celebrate Jazzy.  We had sandwiches from Jimmy Johns, chips, pop, and an adorable pink teddy bear cake.  I got a ton of really cute outfits, hair clips, blankets, gift cards, and books.  It means so much to work with such giving & loving people!

July 12th

Saturday was Lil Cyclone Club packet pickup day in Ames.  Cy turns 60 this year so they had 2 big tables of cupcakes to celebrate.  My boy only likes the frosting, so poor Chris got stuck with a dry treat.  While we were there, I couldn't resist getting Jazzy's first picture with Cy!  Go State!

July 5th

Saturday morning the boys waited until the rain stopped and then headed to Good Guys with Craig.  Zach had fun taking pictures of random cars but didn't last too long.  I picked him up at the fair grounds and Chris & Craig walked around and eventually met up with my dad.  That night we all watched fireworks at the fair grounds.  It was a great and busy holiday weekend.

July 4th

We spent the 4th of July at the Ankeny Aquatic Park having a great day.  That night we drove around in Randy's Mustang watching fireworks & eating ice cream.  It was a perfect relaxing family day!

July 3rd

July 3rd we headed to Altoona to watch fireworks at Prairie Meadows with my parents.  Zach was very into sparklers this year, but was pretty bored by the fireworks.  The rest of us thought they were great!

July 1st

July 1st was Zach's last tee ball game of the season.  He had a great time with all of the boys on the team.  After the game the team had a pizza picnic in a nearby park & played on the equipment.  Go Ankeny Royals!
