Peggy had a BIG birthday today so we surprised her with dinner at Tokoyo Steakhouse. The boys had fun watching the show and seeing Grandma in the mask!
It seems we only get the camera out on holidays and "big" occasions. My goal for 2011 is to take a picture each day of the normal everyday moments that make us a family. This blog is to keep the images together so one day Zach can enjoy them.

Tonight we celebrated Chris' birthday with the Palmers. Peggy put 38 candles on the cake to remind Chris how old he is getting!

Today was the last day of Zach's Spring Break & Karen was off so I took PTO to be with the kiddos. In the morning we got Bailey's 6 month pictures taken and in the afternoon we saw the Easter Bunny. Bailey couldn't have cared less but Zach was excited to see him and ride the train!

We are loving the warm weather! Today we took our first walk of the season to Tractor Supply to see the baby chicks. Bailey loved hanging out in the carrier and we had a great time getting some fresh air.

This week Zach is Star Student of his kindergarten class. I had lunch with him today and had so much fun talking to all of his friends. Kindergarten is such a fun age!

Darby is Zach's classroom's stuffed animal. Each weekend, he goes to a student's house and they write about it in Darby's journal. Zach had a really fun time with Darby this weekend!

Instead of having a typical music concert, Zach's music teacher decided to have a Spotlight on Music week at school. Parents were invited to come and watch a typical music class during the week (super convenient for working parents!). Zach has music on Fridays so Chris and I went today to observe. He was chosen to sing a solo and did a great job entertaining everyone!

March 1st my grandparent's farm officially became a 1/2 century farm. We celebrated with cake and played in the snow and had a wonderful time together. Here's to 50 more years!
