Our little music lover has learned how to turn on the receiver/stereo and dance to the music! She is the cutest little booty shaker!
It seems we only get the camera out on holidays and "big" occasions. My goal for 2011 is to take a picture each day of the normal everyday moments that make us a family. This blog is to keep the images together so one day Zach can enjoy them.

I LOVE when my birthday & Night Glow at the Indianola Balloon Fest fall on the same night! We had an amazing night watching balloons and hanging out in the beautiful weather. My parents ended up joining us and a fun time was had by all!
(Sorry for all of the pictures...I just really love hot air balloons!)

Today we celebrated Memphis' birthday at a party in the park. Bailey wore her fanciest Minnie Mouse outfit for the occasion since he likes Mickey. It is so fun to see her in outfits we bought before she was born...back when having a little girl was just a dream. We beat the heat in the afternoon on Mimi & Papa's deck in the mini-pools!

Bailey & Kacy have such an interesting relationship. The cat normally ignores everyone but me, but she loves being close to Bailey...just not too close! Bailey has also discovered how good her own toes taste!

One of Chris' second cousins passed through from California this weekend. Her 3 kids had so much fun playing with Zach, Bailey, & Memphis (and Tony). It was great to all get together!

Neither kiddo had daycare today, so I took the day to be with them. It turned out to be HOT, so we hit the splash park early in the morning and the deck pool when we got home. The afternoon was spent napping. Talk about an amazing day!

The first picture is the after-math of Hurricane Bailey on a Sunday morning. After we all were a little stir crazy, we decided to swim on the deck. It started with a wrestling match between Chris & Zach, but once Bailey joined in they settled down for some nice swimming.

One of Zach's little buddies Joey had a birthday party today. They got to swim at a hotel and eat cake and hit a pinata. Bailey and I got to hang out in the lobby for awhile when she had a major meltdown. It didn't take long for her to perk right back up.

Today we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put Couper down. It wasn't really a decision...she couldn't stand up and was in so much pain. She was our first baby. I still remember Chris bringing her up to my apartment in Ames my last semester (2002) dressed in an ISU cheerleading costume Peggy had made her for Halloween. We had her 13 amazing years. She saw us through an engagement, buying our house, our wedding, 2 babies, and lots and lots of love.
Thank you Couper Grace for being the best dog we could ever ask for! Here's to hoping Doggie Heaven is a non-stop carb buffet filled with all-you-can-eat pizza crusts for you!

You can't tell from the picture, but Zach was watching WWE wrestling. Bailey decided she wanted to have a match of her own and starting tackling him. I am not sure who won, but there were no tears at the end so I would say I am the winner! :)

Zach was playing so nicely. He was having a Money In the Bank ladder match (WWE thing) with a championship belt hanging from our ceiling fan. Baby Godzilla wanted to play too. Being a big brother is hard sometimes. :)
