What a surprise this morning! Elfie made Zach a fort in the living room complete with Christmas lights, pillows, a stool to sit on, and Christmas books to read. Zach thought it was pretty great, and spent most of the morning in there. Couper and Kacy also liked it, which was fun to watch them come in and out. Zach also got a Santa Pez dispenser from Elfie.
Since the weather was so nice, we decided to go ice skating in the afternoon. Zach wanted a helmet and a stick so he could play hockey, since that is the only ice skating he has ever seen. He could walk in the skates so well, I couldn't believe it!
It was a family effort to keep him from falling on the ice...but check out that smile! So worth it!
I just love this shot. If you look close, you can see Zach's tooshie is covered in ice.
Zach is already talking about wanting to go again. I better start icing my back now!
