January 4th

Zach is playing Little Dunkers basketball this winter.  His games are Saturdays at Northwest Elementary in Ankeny.  It is on 1st St, just 0.50 miles west of where he played soccer in the fall on the north side of the road.  His team is the Pacers and consists of 4 and pre-k age.  The first 15 minutes they spend practicing skills and the last 40 minutes are playing against another team.

Saturday was his first game.  I had no idea what to expect but it was pretty hilarious.  Zach is so proud of his new Jordan's (basketball shoes).  We have a lot of work to do practicing dribbling & shooting, but he had a great time and can't wait to go back.  It was absolutely adorable to watch.
